This is me. Amy E. Brucker

The best way to describe me is to say I’m a bridge between opposing forces. It’s even written in my name:

Brucker means “bridge tender” and in my work I tend to the intersection of:

spirit and technology

shadow and light

intuition and strategy

creativity and discipline

play and work

wisdom and websites

I’m a spiritual healer who gets heart dimension of life, but I also enjoy geeky stuff like how to code websites. It may be an odd mix for most people, but for me it’s destiny.

If you need a bridge between opposing forces in your life, like how to connect your dreams to your reality, let’s talk. You can reach me at Amy@GrowYourLifework.com or 650-866-5453 (although I’m much more likely to respond to your email … just being honest.)

So please contact me at Amy@GrowYourLifework.com

I’d love to meet you and learn all about what makes your heart sing.

Other things you might like to know about me

I received my MA in Spirituality from Naropa University and have a BA in art and art history from Gustavus Adolphus College.

I’m a big dreamer. Dreamwork has played a central role in my life for nearly 25 years. Here’s another one of my websites if you want to explore what dreams mean: www.TheDreamTribe.com

After grad school I studied at an interfaith seminary and became an ordained, Interfaith minister. Now I enjoy working with people of all faiths, including atheists and agnostics!

I teach spiritual marketing and dreamwork at The Chaplaincy Institute. I was also their Director of Operations (read “finances and marketing”) for 3 years. In March 2012 I’ll start teaching spiritual marketing at ITP (the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology) in Palo Alto, CA.

In 1984, when I was 16, I started working in marketing and advertising. My parents had an ad agency and I ran the stat camera. (I vowed never to go into marketing.)

I made my first brochure in ninth grade for a school project. Afterward, I was asked by my school administrator to be a regular columnist for the local paper. When the photojournalist came to take my picture for the paper, I was wearing Esprit “splatter” pants that looked like a Jackson Pollock painting. Very professional.

In 2001, a friend hired me to do marketing and graphic design for his company. I had a week to teach myself how to use Photoshop, and a few months to teach myself how to make html websites.

The rest, they say, is history.
